WILL MAGDECK ATTACH TO EVERY VEHICLE?
No. It requires a clean, flat, ferromagnetic steel mounting area. Aluminum, fiberglass, plastic, carbon-fiber and some composite body panels will not hold a magnet. Test the exact area before ordering.
CAN I LEAVE IT ATTACHED WHILE DRIVING?
No. MAGDECK is intended only for stationary use. Remove and store the entire system before moving the vehicle.
DOES INSTALLATION REQUIRE DRILLING?
Not on a compatible magnetic setup. Clean the panel, test magnetic attraction, position the folded system and deploy it according to the included instructions.
WHICH SIZE SHOULD I CHOOSE?
Compact measures approximately 19.7 × 9.8 in (50 × 25 cm). Standard measures approximately 19.7 × 11.8 in (50 × 30 cm) and offers more working depth. Measure your intended panel first.
WILL THE MAGNETS DAMAGE MY PAINT?
Rubber-coated contact areas are designed to reduce direct metal contact, but no magnetic accessory can prevent marks if dirt or grit is trapped underneath. Clean and dry both surfaces before every use and remove carefully.
HOW MUCH WEIGHT CAN IT HOLD?
Maximum load depends on the final production version, panel shape, steel thickness, surface condition and installation. Follow the rated limit supplied with your product and never rely on the table to support people, pets or safety-critical equipment.
IS IT WEATHERPROOF?
Do not leave the table mounted or stored outdoors. Wipe it dry after exposure to moisture and store it in a clean, dry location. Avoid severe weather, heavy rain and corrosive environments.
